1973 - 1981 Camaro B&M QuickSilver Automatic Shifter Assembly
New for 73 - 81 Camaro models with a floor shift automatic console. B&M's QuickSilver Shifter offers style and stout performance wrapped in a classic looking package. Like all Quicksilver shifters, features a trigger-less shift handle design. When in Park, you simply lift the handle and pull back and let the handle drop once in or past Reverse. Once out of Park, there's no need to lift the handle to shift gears until you either need to access Reverse or Park.
From Drive, just lift the handle straight up and this will bypass the reverse lockout safety feature, then move the shift handle forward into Reverse or Park. It's just that easy! Also, the reverse lockout feature meets NHRA and IHRA safety regulations and won't allow you to accidentally over shift into reverse while making a pass at the strip. To use the ratcheting function at the strip, shift into low gear, launch the vehicle and hit the shifter forward when it's time to shift. You cannot over-shift and miss a gear.
