Famaro October Update! Butch's Bodywork, Corvette-Style Hood, and First Fire-Up!
The "Famaro" project is one of the wildest builds we've ever featured, and our favorite shade tree mechanic, Butch Horn, is back with a massive October update! If you've been following our YouTube channel or our Camaro Central blog, you know this build is a true one-of-a-kind: a 1973 RS Camaro parts body surgically grafted onto a 1994 Pontiac Formula chassis.
This mash-up of classic Camaro parts and modern running gear is all heart, and Butch is getting it one step closer to the road. This month, Butch walks us through the incredible progress, featuring some seriously custom fabrication that only a true gearhead could pull off.

Bodywork is Nearing the Finish Line: Butch has been deep in the trenches, welding and performing all the custom bodywork needed to make these two completely different cars one seamless machine. He's now taking the car home to prime and paint it himself. The chosen color? A stunning Baldwin Motion green with a white stripe.
A Killer Corvette-Style Hood Mod: As if the build wasn't custom enough, Butch reveals a killer upgrade: a Corvette-style hood hinge conversion. That's right, the hood will tilt forward from the rear, just like a classic Vette! It's a unique touch that will require some serious custom Camaro car parts and fabrication.
It Runs! The moment we've all been waiting for is finally here. You can hear the Famaro fire up and run for the first time! Hearing that engine roar brings this project to life, blending classic muscle aesthetics with 90s performance.
