1967 - 1969 Camaro Firewall Flapper Vent Valve Assembly, Upper Cowl For Air Conditioning

Complete assembly includes flapper door, vacuum tank, spring, and arm. Currently available as a used GM item only. The one you will receive will look similar to the ones pictured. It will not be new or perfect. It will be just as removed from a 50 year old car. Mounts on the right hand top of your cowl, firewall area. Exact fit for all air condition equipped 67, 68, and 69 Camaro models. Original GM part number 3891701.

5 of 5 Flapper vent for A/C cars January 1, 2019

I removed my flapper vent from the cowl to clean up and detail the bracket and vacuum diaphragm and discovered that rodents have chewed away at the rubber seal to the point it was no longer usable. This is a critical part to keep the warm air out of the car when using the A/C which I plan to do. This part is no longer available new so I was glad that Camaro Central had this part readily available. This was a used part but was in perfect working order. It just needs a quick and easy detail and it will be ready for installation. The price was good for a part that is no longer available as new.
