GM used 2 different mounting bolt patterns on the strut mount retainers. 1982-86 vehicles had a different bolt pattern than the 1987-92 vehicles. All replacement strut mounts are machined to the 1987-92 mounting pattern. You can no longer purchase the 1982-86 strut mount retainers, so if you have a 1982-86 vehicle and purchase new strut mounts (included in the Detroit Speed Caster/Camber Plate Kit, p/n: 030330) your factory strut mount retainers will not work and you will need to purchase the 1987-92 retainers for your vehicle.

NOTE: These strut mount retainers are no longer available from GM.
