Retaining clips are not facing the same direction	February 13, 2015

The description of this item makes it seem extremely easy to install. And, for the most part, they would be. I needed a small screwdriver to pry away the retaining clips on each end of the old hood shocks and knock them loose from the framework of the hood. Not a big deal. However, when I went to install the new ones, I realized the one of the retaining clips on both of the hood shocks was facing the wrong direction. It took a little finessing with the screwdriver and needlenose pliers to reverse one of the clips on each hood shock but it would have been nice to not have to it in the first place. I'm assuming that the people that assmbled them (in Mexico) didn't realize their mistake. It also makes me wonder if every one of these parts have their retaining clips reversed on one end. It added about 10 minutes to the job, but would have been worse if I didn't realize the mistake until after I had put each end on. Just a head's up to anyone thinking of getting one of these.
