1970 - 1981 Camaro Air Conditioning Box Delete Plate, ABS Plastic

Air conditioning delete box for 70 - 81 models. Allows you to retain heater/defroster, but eliminates AC functions. Increases space on right hand side of engine bay for headers and valve covers clearance. Stock Factory AC Heater Core tubes pass on both sides of the neck on this ABS plastic box. This allows the heater function to operate and offers a much cleaner look.

Fits all 70 71 72 73 74 75 76 77 78 79 80 81 factor air conditioning models. If you ever need to replace your heater core, just order one for a factory AC model and this AC delete box will do the rest.

This box is approximately 3 1/4" deep on the blower motor side, and approximately 2 1/4" deep on the opposite side so you have more room like non-AC cars. The hole is approximately 5" in diameter, Order yours today!

I was able to make it work but with modification. It was made about a half inch to short in length. It fit fine over the fan inlet hole or fine on the square hole on the firewall but not both at the same time. I centered it over the square hole but I had to drill new holes to mount over the fan hole... but it works.

Great product, bolted right in. Needed some clips to bolt blower motor to box and requires blower wheel for a non air condition car.

The finish is good, but it didn't fit my car. It was just a little too short to reach all the way, but I could probably have made it work if I wanted to. Ended up buying a more expensive one in fiberglass.
