Used T-400 detent switch bracket	February 23, 2021

Greetings
I have several 70's Camaros in storage for future builds and I have considered using T-400 transmissions in a couple of them. The T-400 will not downshift correctly without the electric detent switch. Rather than attempt to engineer an electric microswitch into the accelerator linkage, it is much easier to use a factory setup. Unfortunately, only the early 70's Camaros and Firebirds used T-400 Transmissions. As engines became smaller and less powerful, the T-350 became the norm. As far as I have researched, this particular bracket is not being reproduced and I am very appreciative that Camaro Central is selling the used factory units.
Even if I do not use them in the future, I still like to have these parts on hand. Often, once you get into the middle of a project it can be a real pain to try and start locating obsolete parts, and one small missing piece (such as a bracket) can shut things down or lead to hours of fabrication. Thanks again!
