Description   1968 - 1969 Camaro Automatic Shifter Overdrive Conversion Kit, 4L80E New conversion kit for upgrading your Turbo 350 or Turbo 400 shifter to adapt to a newer overdrive transmission. Use your factory-installed automatic floor shifter with a newer 4-speed overdrive 4L80E transmission. This kit uses your original shifter cable. The 4L80E of range select shafts. A long shaft used in trucks for the factory neutral safety switch and shorter shafts, some like the TH400 and some clocked differently. As a result the conversion kit includes three different range select shafts, a new laser cut and hardened detent for proper stops and gear selection, a new matching transmission shift lever, console indicator OD lens, all necessary hardware, and instructions.
