1967 - 1968 Camaro Horn Contact Cam for Steering Column, OE Style

New OE style horn contact cam for your Camaro. Exact fit for all 1967 and 1968 models. Replaces original GM perfectly. This is the plastic and brass contact with the cylinder pipe coming through the top of your steering column. The cylinder pipe for your spring and plunger is solid, it does not have the locking location for a pin "Tooth Tab" style mount. This is part "A" in the picture diagram shown. Correct shape, size, and fit. Order yours today!

***Please Note ~ This horn contact is designed for non tooth, non-tab spring and plunger style installation. Made to work with STE-52B type spring, plunger, and "Wedge" for proper installation. Over the years many cars have had a steering column or steering wheel change. Double check and make sure you have everything you need.

There is another cam advertised here that is white in color and says it works on tilt and non tilt columns. It has a depression in the top of it for the steering column spring to fit down into. This cam, which only shows one side in the picture, does not have that depression. It is flat. So the steering column spring can go into the well in the lower part of the cam you see in the picture, or it could go on the flat top. I put the spring in the bottom plastic well because it looked wrong sitting on top of the cam. It could move around because only the post it goes over is locating it. The horn is working but I do not know how it will fair over time if I put the steering wheel spring on the wrong side of the cam. Wish the demonstration drawing was more clear. The old one was the white style which I kind of wish I had bought, but I didn't want to pay an extra ten just for having someone press the spring and post into the cam for me.
