1974 - 1977 Camaro Front Bumper Impact Strip with End Caps, 372955

New one piece FRONT bumper impact strip for all 74, 75, 76, and 77 Camaro models. This strip is made from ABS molded plastic for a great fit and OE look. Impact strip has all mounting studs like original. Please do not over tighten, the studs will pull out. Some version bumper bracket bolts have a larger head. If yours are bigger, you may have to elongate the backside opening holes. Replaces GM Part # 372955 perfectly! Looks, feels, and fits wonderfully! Order yours today!

Reproduction front bumper impact strip for 1974 - 1977 Camaro models. This OEM style bumper strip inserts into the face of the bumper. Designed and manufactured to factory specifications, this cosmetically correct bumper strip comes complete with all necessary installation hardware.

*Also included are optional special End Caps that cover the ends of the impact strip giving a finished professional appearance.



Note: Designed to allow for forming during installation. Shipped oversize.

High Quality part. Easy Install, & looks GREAT! Recommendation: When installing the carriage bolts before install per instructions, I found they seat better in the metal strip when a thick washer is used to permit the square portion of the bolt to be completely pulled into place. If not, the bolt can not pull into the strip due to the thickness of the metal strip. I left all hardware installed until I was ready to join the metal to the rubber strips. Oh, and do not forget to follow the instructions and apply a lot of dish soap prior to installing the metal strip into the rubber strip. Lastly, do not get in a hurry and forget to put the needed bumper bracket carriage bolts back in before you install the strip to the bumper. It takes twice as long to install when you have to do it twice. Please do not ask how I know. Also, to prevent possible damage, secure the nuts as instructed. I chose to use red Loctite also to prevent possible loosing of the strip nuts as a precaution.

The quality and fit and finish is amazing. A little pricey but adds that extra touch. Easy to follow instructions and install once the bumper is off, which is required. The only way they could improve this is by including the bumper carriage bolts that goes under the impact strip as the old ones tend to be rusty and strip out easily.
